Valentine's Gifts: A Woman's Point of View
What do women want? The world may never know! A more realistic question might be, what do women want for Valentine's Day? To answer this query, we've brought in an expert on the subject. A woman! Let's see what advice Melanie can give us guys on what to buy our sweethearts for Valentines Day.
Being together:
The most important thing, guys, and I think I can speak for most of us ladies when I say this, is that we want to BE WITH OUR GUY on Valentine's Day. Plan to spend time with your sweetie. Dinner, a movie, a walk in the park, a candle lit moment with just the right music- just as long as you're together!
Romance:
Guys, if your idea of romance is popping a few beers and watching the game, then thank goodness you're reading this blog! A ride in a horse drawn carriage, reciting a poem while staring dreamily into her eyes, strawberries and champagne beside a hot tub, a midnight serenade on her doorstep... any one of these should earn you plenty of romance points even if you are in the doghouse.
The Gift:
Sure, there's always chocolates and flowers, but what about originality? Ask yourself, what does my honey like? Who is she and what is she about? Does she collect anything? Does she love animals? Is she a hopeless romantic or a bit of a tomboy? Women love it when you "get them".
Ever heard the expression, "It's the thought that counts"? That translates to, "I don't like this gift but I don't want to hurt your feelings."
You're gift doesn't have to be extravagant, but if you have the means, why not splurge a little. She's worth it!
So what should you get her? Let me share a few suggestions:
